Our clients include major organizations such as Con Edison (since 2003), the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (since 2001), Skanska, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and Metropolitan Transportation Authority Capital Construction. Clarity was founded in 1995 by Jeffrey Altholz, MD, a certified Medical Review Officer (AAMRO) and DOT Medical Examiner (NRCME), who currently serves as President and CEO. Clarity's services are based on the medical testing model and adhere to strict safety and sanitation protocols.

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with preference for a strong background in selling firefighter equipment, supplies and/or occupational health medical services, specifically annual physical exams for fire departments. This role is responsible for driving new business, maintaining client relationships, and expanding service contracts with municipal and regional fire agencies.

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting fire departments and related public safety organizationsIdentify, prospect, and secure new clients for annual firefighter physical exam servicesManage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and presentations to contract negotiation and closingBuild and maintain long-term relationships with fire chiefs, union representatives, and municipal decision-makersCoordinate with clinical and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of servicesPrepare and deliver proposals, RFP responses, and presentations tailored to department needsTrack sales activities, pipeline, and performance metricsStay informed on industry standards, including
NFPA 1582
compliance and occupational health regulationsAttend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads and build brand awarenessQualificationsSales to volunteer and paid fire departmentsMinimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in occupational health, medical services, or public sector salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience selling annual physical exams for fire departments or similar services strongly preferredStrong understanding of municipal procurement processes and contract cyclesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to build trust with public safety professionals and stakeholdersSelf-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skillsPreferred QualificationsExisting relationships within fire departments or public safety agenciesFamiliarity with NFPA 1582 and firefighter health standardsExperience responding to RFPs and government bidsBA degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
Additional InformationCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range:
