This position provides leadership and daily support to the member service team while delivering exceptional service to our members. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone calls and assist members with account-related questions. Assist members with online and mobile banking enrollment, password resets, and general troubleshooting. Process teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and check cashing. Review and process remote deposit capture transactions. Balance the vault and teller cash drawers daily. Process individual membership applications and establish new accounts on the credit union's core system. Open trust accounts and IRA share accounts and process related transactions. Handle specialized account transactions, including deceased-member accounts and trust accounts. Assist members with debit cards, account access, and electronic services. Research and resolve complex member concerns professionally and promptly. Document member issues, actions taken, and all required follow-up. Support and guide member service staff with daily procedures and member requests. Assist the Director of Operations with daily responsibilities, and operational tasks Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain the confidentiality of member and credit union information. Support daily teller-line operations and ensure proper cash-handling procedures are followed. Identify opportunities to educate members about credit union products and services. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications More than three years of experience working in the credit union industry is required. Previous member service and teller experience is required. Experience balancing teller drawers and a cash vault. Experience opening and maintaining consumer, trust, and IRA share accounts. Knowledge of deceased-member account procedures and related documentation. Working knowledge of credit union products, online banking, core processing systems, and transaction processing. Strong leadership, communication, research, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to resolve complex member concerns and document appropriate follow-up. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
