Job Description

In this position you will perform a wide variety of financial and educational service functions in member service areas assisting in achieving assigned branch goals. Perform essential functional tasks key to the position and overall branch operations to include but is not limited to: Originate loan applications and review loan files to verify application is complete. Maintain all contact with members for consumer loans to ensure loan process steps are completed. Provide general information about share application process and all credit union products and services. Complete all required steps in the account opening and closing process including actively trying to retain the account. Service member needs regarding share account, trust, U.T.M.A, club accounts, business accounts, share draft, deferred compensation, IRA, and share certificates. Establish, convert, or assist with complex special accounts and transactions. Educate and promote credit union ancillary products. Assist members with loan payments, withdrawals via check, credit card and cash advances, and transfers. Follow all daily work documentation procedures which include check proofing and balancing daily work. Perform member account maintenance as required. Support members with fraud disputes and compromised memberships. Respond promptly to members email, telephone requests and inquiries, ensuring the highest quality member service standards. Assist members with remote access. Support branch management with monthly and quarterly audits as needed.
