Position Summary Pinehurst Country Club is seeking a welcoming, organized, and service-focused Racquets/Fitness Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for members and guests. This position is responsible for handling phone calls, reservations, and member inquiries while supporting Tennis Shop sales and daily operations and delivering premier country club experience while upholding Pinehurst Country Club's standards of excellence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Answer the telephone; transfer calls to proper extensions; take messages for members and staff. Greet members and guests. Provide tennis/fitness schedules and other club information to members and guests. Supply towels, cups, and ice to members and guests; collect and process member payments for the accounting department. Take and record court reservations. Direct members and guests to their courts. Assist members and guests with Tennis Shop merchandise selections and purchases. Maintain the Tennis Shop and keep the storage area tidy. Report any complaints, feedback, or concerns from membership. Complete other appropriate assignments made by the Director of Racquets or Racquets Operations Manager. Follow all club policies, safety procedures, and service standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED), or current enrollment with anticipated completion. Previous customer service or retail experience preferred. Tennis experience highly recommended. Physical Requirements Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time. Ability to work in a moderate noise level environment. Schedule Part-time position. Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and special events.
