Job Description
Position Overview Alloy Personal Training South Tampa is seeking an experienced, energetic and results-driven Sales & Membership Growth Manager to help lead the continued growth of our studio. This is first and foremost a sales position: we are looking for someone who has successfully sold personal training, understands the fitness business, knows how to conduct an effective consultation and Starting Point Session, and is comfortable asking for and closing the sale. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Mindbody Business, personal training experience, and a strong understanding of the South Tampa community. Our goal is to grow and maintain a thriving studio of approximately 130-150 active members, and this position will play an important role in helping us achieve and sustain that goal. Core Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to incoming leads and contact prospects by phone, text and email
- Schedule and conduct Starting Point Sessions (SPS); present Alloy's personal training programs and membership options
- Professionally handle objections and confidently ask for and close the sale
- Utilize Mindbody Business to manage leads, appointments, memberships and member information; track every prospect through the sales funnel
- Identify and develop relationships with complementary local businesses, and represent Alloy at community events, health fairs and corporate wellness programs
- Support new-member onboarding and retention Performance Expectations 10+ qualified leads per week, 10+ new members per month (initial target, not a ceiling).
Qualifications Required:
Proven personal training sales experience, strong consultative sales and closing skills, comfortable making outbound calls and consistent follow-up, ability to work approximately 30 hours/week with some morning/evening/weekend availability.Strongly Preferred:
Hands-on Mindbody Business experience, 3-5 years of fitness or personal training sales experience, nationally recognized Personal Training Certification, degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science.South Tampa Connection:
Candidates who live in South Tampa, grew up here, or have strong local relationships will have an advantage.Compensation Guaranteed base:
$2,500/month (approximately 30 hours/week).Performance bonus:
$150 per new membership (1-10/month), $200 per new membership (11+/month), uncapped and resetting monthly.- 10 new members/month = $4,000/month (approx. $48,000 annualized)
