Job Description
Get Yourself Motivated (GYM) Is Seeking a positive individual for the role of part time facility manager. Looking for a creative, problem-solver, who works well in a team setting & who will actively engage with the local community. Must be passionate about fitness with excellent customer service & problem solving skills. Management experience preferred. available to work 25-30 hours/week, to work 6am-1pm, flexible. Duties & Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service. Maintain welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests Manage all facets of the business to include sales, fitness and gym operations Provide effective decision making in regard to customer service issues Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills. Ensure facility is clean and operationally sound Plan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis to drive member engagement, using corporate marketing as needed Generates sales through Company and employee sponsored outreach and promotions Involved in all front desk related activities including: Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions. Check members into the system. New member sign-up. Take prospective members on tours. Facilitate all member requests, issues and questions. Facilitate needed updates to member's accounts. Assist in ordering of supplies using specific budget based on club requirements. Assist in tracking statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, and annually). Backup support for any employee who is absent. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age. High School Diploma/GED knowledge/experience in health & fitness Excellent communication & customer service skills Management background preferred Basic computer proficiency Strong problem resolution skills Friendly, hard-working, reliable, enthusiastic and energetic!
