Job Description

Position Summary:
The Member Specialist is responsible for delivering an outstanding member experience by building relationships, creating a welcoming atmosphere, introducing new players to pickleball, and helping prospective members find the membership that best fits their needs. This role combines hospitality, sales, coaching, and daily club operations to ensure every visit to Ace Pickleball Club is memorable.
Key Responsibilites:
Member & Guest Experience Welcome every member and guest with enthusiasm and professionalism. Build lasting relationships with members through exceptional customer service. Learn members' names, playing preferences, and goals to create a personalized experience. Introduce new guests to the club and ensure they feel comfortable and included. Resolve member concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude. Foster an energetic, inclusive, and fun club atmosphere. Pickleball Instruction & Programming Lead and facilitate beginner and intermediate pickleball classes. Assist with open play, clinics, leagues, and club events. Help players improve through encouragement, instruction, and organized gameplay. Maintain safe and engaging court environments. Be a positive ambassador for the sport of pickleball. Membership Sales & Growth Confidently discuss membership options, benefits, promotions, and pricing. Guide prospective members through the membership pipeline from first visit to enrollment. Conduct club tours and answer questions about programs and amenities. Follow up with leads and trial guests to encourage membership conversion. Help achieve club membership and retention goals through relationship-based selling. Community Outreach Represent Ace Pickleball Club at local events and community partnerships. Assist with promotional events, open houses, and member appreciation activities. Help generate new leads through networking and local outreach opportunities. Promote club programs both inside and outside the facility. Club Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility. Perform light daily cleaning tasks, including: Wiping down tables, benches, and common areas Organizing paddles, balls, and equipment Keeping courts and member areas neat Assisting with locker room and lounge upkeep Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned. Support teammates with daily operational needs. Qualifications Positive, energetic, and outgoing personality. Passion for customer service and building relationships. Comfortable teaching beginner and intermediate pickleball players. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident discussing memberships and recommending the best options for prospective members. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional guest service. Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and special events.
Pay:
$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
