About the Company MVP Sports Clubs is a sports facility development and management company with 5 facilities operating in West Michigan. We provide corporate service support in the areas of finance, marketing/communications, information systems, human resources, property management and operational development including sales, fitness, and operations. About the Position The Member Services Team Member is responsible for providing a large, diversified clientele with outstanding customer service by performing day-to-day concessions operations. The team member is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to members and guests using the club and concessions area. This position is part of the Member Service Department and reports to the Member Services Manager. Responsibilities Prepare quality food items by adhering to MVP and Health Department codes. Maintain a clean and professional food preparation area. Provide superior customer service in timely, professional, and courteous manner. Attend and participate in regular Service Game training sessions as directed by supervisor. Maintain a neat and professional appearance, by wearing the MVP Sports Clubs uniform (see uniform matrix) and name badge. Perform any point-of-sale procedures with CSI Software. Responsible for contents of cash drawer during a specified shift. Perform all job functions at an exceptional level while adhering to areas of accountability. Communicate members' concerns, comments, and questions to appropriate Manager. Other duties as assigned by the Member Services Manager. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience. First Aid/CPR Training. In the event a team member is hired without CPR or First certifications, they will be required to attend MVP Sports Clubs in-house training to obtain this. Minimum 6 months prior customer service experience in high volume service industry. Experience with food preparation. Excellent verbal and personal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work weekends, and holidays when needed. Ability to stand 95% of the shift and lift weighted objects up to 40 lbs.
