Job Overview Oteen VA Federal Credit Union is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Teller/Member Service Representative to join our team. This position is approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. As the first point of contact for our members, you'll provide exceptional service while processing transactions, opening accounts, and assisting members with a variety of financial needs. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering accurate, personalized service. Duties Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cashier's checks, money orders, and other teller transactions accurately. Balance a cash drawer daily. Open new memberships and accounts. Assist members with debit cards, online banking, mobile banking, direct deposit, and other account services. Answer member questions in person and over the phone. Resolve member concerns professionally and courteously. Promote credit union products and services that benefit our members. Maintain member confidentiality and follow all credit union policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous teller, banking, credit union, cash handling, or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
