Job Description
Position Summary The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role is responsible for greeting members, managing check-ins, answering inquiries, handling membership-related tasks, and supporting daily club operations. Key Responsibilities Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional manner. Check members into the facility and verify membership status. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions regarding memberships, amenities, classes, and club policies. Schedule appointments for membership consultations and club tours. Process membership enrollments, renewals, and updates as needed. Address member concerns and escalate issues to management when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area. Monitor guest sign-ins and ensure compliance with club policies. Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and filing. Promote club programs, personal training services, and special events. Support team members and contribute to a positive member experience. Make phone calls to correct billing issues. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service, receptionist, retail, or hospitality experience is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working in an active fitness club environment
