POSITION
The purpose of the Membership Sales Representative is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by bringing new members to the studio and booking them into Intro Classes. The primary responsibilities require strong sales experience with lead generation and sales of new memberships. Candidates MUST have a sales background and experience in the fitness industry is strongly desired . A passion for Pilates is an extra bonus! If you do not have sales experience with a proven track record for driving and growing revenue, please do not apply. This is aHANDS-ON
position with heavy sales duties.REQUIREMENTS
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to sell memberships in person, on the telephone and via email Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in group class memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training Strong focus on customer service, ensuring guests' needs are always met with a smiling face Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Must communicate professionally and effectively to clients and colleagues Must have excellent public speaking skills Must have proficient computer skills Availability on weekends will be required Professional, punctual, reliable and neat…with an attitude showing you authentically careRESPONSIBILITIES
Constant lead generation including Grass Roots Marketing, forming area partnerships, networking and more, with the need to continually evolve and develop new ways of reaching prospective members. Creativity will come in handy! Execute our effective and proven sales process of lead generation, follow up, and close: you'llschedule prospects into their first Intro class, and then pitch and close those prospects onsite if not prior to them walking in Conduct tours of the facility while establishing an authentic rapport and relationship with each and every prospect by targeting individual's needs and wants via goal-oriented selling Maintain high level of personal sales production Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider Present available services to current or prospective members Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quota Participate in special events (health fairs, grand openings, marathons, and community and hospital events) to promote the club Assumes responsibility for developing selling skills Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization of the Pilates Studio Other duties as assignedCOMPENSATION & PERKS
