Lead Member Service Representative (Full-Time)

Midwest Community Federal Credit Union is hiring and looking for you! We're hiring a Lead Member Service Representative to help put our members on a path to healthy finances. We're seeking candidates who are punctual, honest, friendly, and have outstanding communication skills. Position Overview:

Lead Member Service Representatives may have days scheduled at ANY location (Defiance, Bryan, Napoleon). Computer literacy is required, and cash handling or banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities Overview:

Perform all Member Service Representative functions Assist in developing branch goals Assist the Department Operations Manager in overseeing the day to day branch operations Effectively handle problems with little to no supervision only on rare occasions would require help Effectively handle special projects Effectively maintain daily operations of credit union branch Motivate the team to promote products and services, including special promotions Proactively ensure work is completed accurately and on a timely basis Provide excellent customer service for internal (employees) and external members Balance vaults and performs other vault processes Assist in training Member Service Representative Cultivate teamwork with all staff and management A superior level of member service, be a positive role model for staff and demonstrate a high level of commitment to the organization Excellent coaching and mentoring skills Thorough knowledge of departmental procedures Process member transactions. Perform end of day procedures. Complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) Balance ATMs and replenish cash. Open and close member accounts. Process check holds according to check cashing policy. Process credit card cash advances. Debit card applications and file maintenance. Issue money orders, cashiers checks and other products. Effectively research and resolve member account issues. Initiate ACH and Wire transactions. Promptly and professionally greet, answer and service member requests. Perform other duties as assigned. You may be the perfect candidate if you are... Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience working directly with the public is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
