Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Delivers excellent service to all members, guests, and program participants, responds to member and guest needs. Promotes membership and programs provided by the
YMCA. RATE OF PAY
$12.00/hour commensurate w/ experience
AVAILABLE HOURS
Various weekday and weekend morning and evening shifts 25-28 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS
Eagerness to welcome, connect, and engage with others. Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people. Previous customer service, sales, or related experience. Solid computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required. Basic gymnastics knowledge preferred
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants contributing to member engagement. Front line contact with public in person and over the phone providing information Handles and resolves concerns. Ability to work in close proximity to other staff members Process program registrations including: entering information in computer and collect fees Builds relationships and helps connect community members to the YMCA. Provide tours of the YMCA Gymnastics Center
