Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Membership—a dynamic, relationship-driven sales professional passionate about building vibrant communities, cultivating high-net-worth member networks, and delivering an elevated member experience. This is a high-impact, front-facing leadership role responsible for driving local membership growth, managing the prospective member pipeline, and fostering a strong, engaged club culture.
What You'll Do Drive Membership Sales & Acquisition:
Identify, engage, and convert prospective members through direct outreach, personal introductions, club tours, and preview events.
Qualify & Onboard New Members:
Ensure all incoming applicants align with the club's community culture, ethos, and membership standards.
Cultivate Community Relationships:
Maintain active touchpoints with current and prospective members, leveraging the existing network to generate referrals and organic pipeline growth.
Manage Sales Operations:
Utilize CRM software to maintain accurate records, track sales analytics, monitor conversion pipelines, and deliver weekly reporting to executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with local operations and national leadership teams to ensure local sales initiatives align seamlessly with brand standards and event programming.
What We're Looking For Proven Sales & Relationship Expertise:
3+ years of demonstrated success in membership sales, business development, or high-end client acquisition—preferably within private country clubs, or luxury hospitality environments.
Proactive Self-Starter:
High energy, strong sense of urgency, and a goal-oriented mindset paired with exceptional interpersonal skills.
Network Builder:
Skilled at connecting with local business leaders, executives, and community influencers to build organic pipeline momentum.
Hospitality First:
Passionate about creating warm, highly personalized experiences for prospective and active members. Qualifications & Requirements 3+ years of sales, membership management, or luxury client relationship experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience required. Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and modern sales tools. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
