We're seeking a Event Support Representative to support participants in a nationwide fundraising event benefiting childhood cancer research. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, relationship building, and working for a mission-driven organization. What You'll Be Doing Make outbound calls to fundraising event participants to thank them for their involvement and support. Provide event-related assistance and answer participant questions. Handle concerns and complaints with professionalism and empathy. Encourage and support participants in reaching their fundraising goals. Collect feedback regarding event experiences. Process donations received over the phone. Accurately enter participant and donor information into company systems. Utilize participant management and outbound calling software. Deliver exceptional support to 100+ participants daily. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year of customer service experience. Call center experience is a plus but not required. Nonprofit, volunteer, or fundraising experience is highly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and other computer applications. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Genuine passion for helping people and providing exceptional service. Training & Support You'll receive comprehensive training that includes: Organization and event overview Participant resources and support processes Technology and software training Outbound calling platform training Most team members begin taking calls during their second week after completing onboarding and training. Schedule & Location Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-3:00 PM 30 hours per week Hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days each week Flexibility to coordinate in-office days with your manager Compensation $20.00 per hour Temporary assignment lasting approximately 4 weeks Start date is September 14th Why Apply?
