This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys golf, has basic golf knowledge or playing experience, and is comfortable engaging with customers and selling memberships . You will work directly with prospective and current members, introduce guests to our golf experience and membership options, and build relationships that turn first-time visitors into long-term members. This is a sales-driven position with commission opportunities . In addition to base compensation, the Golf Membership Sales Representative can earn commission on membership sales. Candidates who have the golf experience and ability to provide golf lessons or instruction will have additional opportunities to earn teaching commission . Key Responsibilities Welcome and engage guests visiting Tee Time Bar and create a friendly, golf-focused customer experience. Introduce prospective members to our facility, golf experience, amenities, membership options, and benefits. Conduct facility tours and explain membership packages based on each customer's interests and playing habits. Follow up with prospective members by phone, text, email, or other communication channels to convert leads into memberships. Manage the membership sales process from initial inquiry through enrollment. Meet or exceed individual membership sales goals and contribute to overall membership growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing members. Identify opportunities to upsell or recommend membership options, golf services, events, and other offerings. Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, memberships, and customer interactions using CRM or sales management systems. Participate in membership promotions, golf events, leagues, tournaments, open houses, and other customer engagement activities. Assist guests and members with basic golf-related questions and help create an engaging golf community at Tee Time Bar. Work closely with management and the marketing team on promotions and strategies designed to increase memberships and customer retention. Provide excellent customer service and assist with general guest experience during regular business hours. Golf Instruction Opportunity For candidates with appropriate golf experience and teaching ability: Provide individual or small-group golf lessons to customers and members. Help beginner and recreational golfers improve fundamentals such as swing mechanics, setup, grip, and overall game knowledge. Build relationships with students and encourage continued participation in lessons and Tee Time Bar golf programs. Earn additional commission for golf lessons taught , separate from membership sales commission. Qualifications Must have a genuine interest in and passion for golf. Basic golf knowledge and playing experience required. Comfortable discussing golf with customers of different skill levels. Previous experience in sales, membership sales, hospitality, customer service, fitness/sports memberships, or retail sales is preferred. Outgoing personality with strong communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable approaching customers, starting conversations, following up with leads, and asking for the sale. Strong customer service skills and ability to create a welcoming environment for both new and experienced golfers. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with an interest in commission-based earning opportunities. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Experience using CRM, POS, booking, or sales management systems is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Previous golf industry experience. Experience working at a golf course, golf club, driving range, indoor golf facility, or golf entertainment venue. Golf coaching or instructional experience is highly preferred. Candidates capable of teaching golf lessons will be given additional consideration. PGA certification or professional golf teaching credentials are a plus, but not required . The ideal candidate enjoys golf, enjoys talking to people, and can naturally connect the two. You should be comfortable welcoming someone who has never played golf before, talking golf with an experienced player, explaining why a Tee Time Bar membership makes sense for them, and following up to turn that conversation into a membership. If you can also teach golf, even better — you will have the opportunity to work directly with members and guests through golf instruction while earning additional teaching commission.
