Established in 1971, The Loudoun Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 nonprofit organization. Position Summary The Membership Coordinator supports membership growth, sales, onboarding, engagement, and retention. This role is responsible for building relationships with prospective and current members, managing CRM activity, supporting membership sales and retention, and ensuring new members are connected to valuable Chamber opportunities from day one. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, relationship-oriented, comfortable with sales and follow-up, and skilled at using CRM software and data to drive results. Key Responsibilities Support new member onboarding and execute the Chamber's 90-day member engagement process. Respond to and follow up with prospective members; research, qualify, and manage leads through the membership sales pipeline. Support membership and sponsorship sales efforts. Maintain accurate and timely prospect, member, event, and engagement data in the CRM. Use CRM data to track follow-up, identify engagement opportunities, and support retention efforts. Conduct proactive outreach to prospective and current members. Assist with New Member Orientation, Ambassador Committee activities, Membership Committee logistics, and member engagement initiatives. Support the Chamber's Member 1st retention strategy. Attend Chamber events as a resource for members, prospects, and guests. Director Support Draft follow-up emails and thank-you notes after major meetings or events. Manage membership-related calendar items, including new member calls and committee commitments. Prepare talking points and background notes for meetings with members and prospects. Provide administrative and project support to the Director of Membership. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Performance will be tracked through established monthly and annual goals, including: Maintain an active, qualified prospect pipeline. Achieve established membership sales and prospect conversion goals. Maintain accurate and timely CRM records for prospects and members. Track and complete assigned follow-up activities within established timelines. Support annual membership retention goals. Support member engagement and participation goals. Position Standards 100% outreach to each new member within 24 hours of their join date. 80% interaction rate with each new member at their three-month anniversary. 100% follow-up outreach by Ambassadors to each new member. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in membership, customer success, account management, nonprofit, association, or a related field. Experience using a CRM system and managing customer or prospect data. Strong prospecting, follow-up, relationship-building, and sales skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Comfortable making phone calls and initiating conversations. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet measurable goals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business technology platforms. Experience with B2B sales results, associations, nonprofits, or membership organizations is a plus. Salary starting at $55,000
