Job Description

Description:
Hispanic Services Specialists serve as the Credit Union's primary contact for our Hispanic membership , in person and on the phone, and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment and an exceptional impression by offering solutions that help them see banking differently! This position is 100% in office, within our Roanoke office area. Key job functions include, but are not limited to: Providing 5-Star member service experiences using effective bilingual (Spanish/English) oral and written communication skills combined with strong influencing abilities Growing the Credit Union through the addition of new members and the expansion of existing member relationships using probing and interviewing skills Professionally responding to member inquiries by telephone and/or in person Accurately performing transactional and operational responsibilities through Eagle Vision Protecting the credit union against risk of loss by collecting delinquent, negative, and fraudulent accounts in a professional manner Becoming proficient in credit union regulations, policies, and procedures Why join the top notch culture at

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalent required Professional verbal and written experience translating between Spanish & English Minimum of 1 year experience fostering customer engagement Past experience in roles requiring attention to detail and math skills Engaging personality with strong communication skills with the ability to influence others Demonstrated ability to communicate information clearly and professionally over the phone and through digital channels Exposure to a sales and service environment; employment experience in sales and service environment preferred Ability to be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) Functional experience with
