Job Description
Donor Engagement Representative Full-Time GLO Wisconsin is a marketing agency representing nonprofit organizations across the Wisconsin community. This role is about building real, face-to-face relationships with potential donors — talking with people directly, explaining a cause honestly, and asking them to support it. Here's the straightforward version: this is a sales role built around donor conversations, not a desk job. You'll be out in the community every day, and your success depends on real conversations, not a script. We're telling you that clearly now so there's nothing to discover later. Key Responsibilities Build genuine, face-to-face connections with potential donors in the community Represent our nonprofit partner's mission clearly and honestly Meet weekly fundraising goals through real conversation Stay current on the partner nonprofit's programs and impact Represent the GLO Wisconsin brand with integrity in every interaction Working Environment Community-based, face-to-face donor engagement Fast-paced, people-first setting Team-oriented culture with Friday team meetings Proactive role — you initiate the conversations What We're Looking For No experience required — full training provided Comfortable approaching and talking with people you don't know Strong listening and communication skills Positive, resilient attitude — comfortable with a commission-based role Genuinely interested in nonprofit work and the people behind it Compensation & Benefits Week 1: paid training at $15/hour After week 1: uncapped earnings Most representatives earn $40,000+ annually — uncapped earning potential Room to grow: Senior Representative, then Leader roles supporting and coaching others, up through Assistant Manager and Manager (leadership adds a 6th day, only once you choose to step into it) In-house training in digital marketing, audience and geographic research, public speaking, emotional intelligence, and branding — unlocked once you've mastered the face-to-face side of the role Application Process Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
