Visual Merchandiser (18+) | SeaWorld San Diego | Part-Time SeaWorld San Diego - 3.0 San Diego, CA Job Details Part-time $17.75 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits 401(k) Tuition reimbursement Paid time off Employee assistance program 401(k) matching Employee discount Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Carpentry Guest relations Inventory management Construction painting Merchandising Processing cash transactions Customer inquiry handling Task prioritization Organizational skills Planogram implementation Time management Full Job Description Visual Merchandiser What you get to do: Assist in satisfying the visual display needs of all Merchandise business units Create visually appealing displays and layouts to attract customers and promote products Implement plans for creating visual displays, utilizing carpenter and craftsman skills Deliver and install any display fixtures, displays, or props as needed at Merchandise locations Maintain the visual displays to include overhead displays, display cases and windows, feature and outside displays throughout the Merchandise locations Collaborate with store management to develop and implement merchandising strategies Arrange and organize merchandise according to brand guidelines and seasonal themes Ensure proper signage and pricing for all products Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding restocking needs Assist at store sets and remerchandising per corporate and department merchandising standards Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and interacting with guests, answering questions and resolving guest issues Assist guests with product information with a focus on up-selling merchandise and increasing sales Take regular and special inventory counts, in an accurate and timely manner, as needed Make a continuing and diligent effort to minimize the loss of company property and/or merchandise due to internal or external damage or theft Monitor merchandise levels, notify leadership of inventory needs throughout day and participate in physical inventory Follow department loss prevention procedures Perform stock duties and maintain merchandise counters and displays in a clean, neat, and orderly manner Keep all assigned areas clean, including emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and dusting Ensure that all merchandise is properly and accurately price marked Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed merchandising decisions Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age 6 months - 1 year of visual merchandising experience Visual merchandising skills to include: Knowledge of fixtures and signage requirements to ensure brand messaging while ensuring maximum profitability Successful implementation and execution of seasonal and specific planograms Inventory management Basic carpentry skills to include painting, basic building and repairs, fixture and prop assembly Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Knowledge of inventory control principles and practices Experience operating a cash register and handling cash transactions Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Compensation:

17.75 USD Hourly Must have 3 days of open availability to include at least 1 weekend day. We offer flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career growth.
