Job Description

This position is located at US Mint,Office of the Director - Sales Operations Branch. As a Merchandising Specialist, you will be responsible for the entire item master and all merchandising, warehousing, inventory, and shipping functions in the Order Management System. This position essentially serves as Senior Inventory Management Specialist.
Qualifications:
You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience:
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Managing or coordinating inventory, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, warehousing, or related merchandise operations; AND Analyzing sales, inventory, purchasing, shipping, or fulfillment information and preparing reports to identify inventory needs, resolve discrepancies, or support operational decisions; AND Coordinating inventory or fulfillment activities with customers, vendors, contractors, or other organizational groups and recommending improvements to inventory, shipping, or fulfillment processes. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement , if applicable: For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12level for 52 weeks.
