This role combines social media content creation, styling, photography, video, and visual storytelling . The ideal candidate understands how to create content that not only looks beautiful but also builds community, drives engagement, and inspires people to sew and quilt. You'll be responsible for creating the visual content that brings our products, projects, designers, and brand to life thru social media. This is a hands-on creative role for someone who understands how to style products, create visually compelling displays, and capture high-quality photography and video for social media, marketing, and digital content. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, color, composition, texture, and trends—and knows how to turn quilts, fabrics, sewing projects, tools, and finished products into content that makes people stop scrolling and want to create. What You'll Do Style quilts, sewing projects, products, and creative displays for photography and video. Develop visually appealing product and lifestyle presentations for marketing, social media, websites, catalogs, and other media. Photograph finished quilts, sewing projects, products, and styled environments. Create and post short-form video and social media content, including reels and behind-the-scenes content. Select and coordinate props, backgrounds, accessories, and supporting elements to create cohesive visual stories. Build seasonal and promotional displays that showcase products in an inspiring way. Collaborate with designers, marketers, and creative teams to develop visual concepts and content. Maintain a consistent visual style and brand aesthetic across photography and digital media. Prepare products and displays for photo shoots and ensure everything is styled, organized, and camera-ready. Edit and organize photography and video content for use across digital platforms. Stay current with visual, styling, photography, quilting, sewing, and social media trends. What We're Looking For Experience in visual merchandising, styling, photography, content creation, or a related creative field . A strong understanding of color, proportion, composition, and visual storytelling. Photography skills with an understanding of lighting, framing, and product presentation. Experience creating content for social media, especially photo and short-form video. A creative eye and excellent attention to detail. Ability to independently conceptualize and execute a photo or content shoot from styling through final images. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple creative projects. A genuine appreciation for quilting, sewing, crafting, or the maker community is highly desirable. Comfortable working in a hands-on creative environment where no two projects are exactly alike. The Ideal Person You are someone who can walk into a room filled with quilts and sewing products and immediately see how to make them look beautiful, interesting, and irresistible on camera. You understand that great content is about more than simply photographing a product. You know how to create a mood, tell a story, and inspire the viewer to imagine what they can make. You have an instinct for styling, color, composition, and visual storytelling , and you're equally comfortable behind the camera and arranging what is in front of it.Job Type:
