POSITION SUMMARY

The Merchandiser's duties are to merchandise and service all accounts on their route.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently Active Florida driver's license

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Maintain and increase shelf facings for all products according to company standards Display all products by brand and utilize point-of-sale materials to stimulate sales Build, merchandise, and maintain all secondary and promotional displays Service each account as scheduled; notify Manager of any accounts you are unable to service as scheduled Create, develop and maintain rapport in every account Report all customer requests on a daily basis Assist in securing the best possible position for our products in each account (including displays, secondary displays, cooler, etc.) Assist in soliciting placement of permanent, temporary, and promotional secondary displays Assist in the execution of all authorized promotions Maintain a supply of all "merchandising tools" in your company vehicle Keep your vehicle neat and clean at all times Attend all required company meetings Follow all safety practices as described in the company safety policy Work in unison with Salesmen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to bend, squat and climb occasionally Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. repetitively Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to/from shoulder height repetitively Ability to push/pull a breakdown weighing 800 lbs.
