Position Overview We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator responsible for maintaining accurate sample records and inventory, overseeing the end-to-end sample fulfillment process, and ensuring the timely production and shipment of flooring samples. This role manages sample orders with suppliers, monitors inventory levels, coordinates with internal teams to produce and fulfill sample requests, and ensures all samples are accurately tracked from order placement through final delivery. Working closely with the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Warehouse teams, the Flooring Merchandising Coordinator helps ensure customers and sales representatives have timely access to high-quality product samples. The role is on-site in Dalton, GA and full-time. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all flooring samples, including inventory levels, locations, product information, and supplier data. Monitor sample inventory and proactively replenish stock to support sales, marketing, and customer requests. Place sample orders with manufacturers and suppliers while tracking order status to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with internal departments, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Warehouse, to produce, assemble, package, and ship samples. Manage the complete sample fulfillment process from order placement through production, quality review, shipping, and delivery. Maintain and update sample tracking systems to ensure inventory accuracy and order visibility. Support the Marketing department by organizing product literature, promotional materials, display assets, and other marketing collateral. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sample storage area and merchandising workspace. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Sales and Marketing team. Qualifications Required Bachelor diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of experience in merchandising, inventory coordination, logistics, operations, or a related role. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. Preferred Experience in the flooring, flooring distribution, building products, or home improvement industry. Experience with inventory management, ERP, or CRM systems. Experience coordinating product samples, merchandising programs, or marketing support activities. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software is a plus. Success in This Role A successful Merchandising Coordinator will: Maintain accurate and reliable sample inventory records. Ensure sample orders are fulfilled accurately and shipped on time. Keep inventory levels appropriately stocked to meet customer and sales needs. Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments. Improve the efficiency and accuracy of the sample fulfillment process.
