The Retail Odyssey Company is hiring a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to support Retail Operations across assigned territories. In this role, you'll travel to multiple retail locations to execute planograms, resets, and product displays that drive sales and enhance the shopper experience. You'll ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and accurately labeled while capturing in-store data and reporting results. Working in a dynamic, inclusive culture, you'll collaborate with store teams, manage your route schedule, and contribute ideas that improve merchandising performance and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Travel to assigned retail locations to execute merchandising plans for The Retail Odyssey Company clients Set, reset, and maintain shelves, displays, and signage according to planograms and brand standards Verify on-hand inventory, rotate stock, and ensure accurate product placement and labeling Collect in-store data, document store conditions, and submit timely reports using company tools Communicate with store personnel and internal teams to resolve issues and support sales goals Identify opportunities to improve product visibility and recommend enhancements to layouts Follow company policies, safety standards, and client guidelines while working independently on the road Maintain schedules and routes to ensure all assigned stores are serviced on time Required Skills Retail merchandising Planogram execution Space planning Inventory management Point-of-sale (POS) systems Data/analytics interpretation Route planning & travel logistics Visual merchandising Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets Reporting & documentation
