Shelf Set Specialist Southern Eagle Sales and Service - 3.8 Metairie, LA Job Details Full-time 19 hours ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance On-site gym Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Pet insurance Qualifications Customer communication Computer literacy Employee relationship building Full Job Description Position Summary The Shelf Set Reset Representative is responsible for executing retail shelf resets, product placement, and merchandising standards for beer, ready-to-drink cocktails (RTD) and non-alcoholic products in small format convenience stores, liquor stores, and other retail accounts based on product sales performance and market demands. This role ensures that all products are displayed according to company planograms and retailer requirements to maximize product visibility and sales. Key Responsibilities Perform shelf resets and category resets according to approved planograms. Stock, rotate, and face all products to maintain freshness and presentation standards. Ensure all pricing tags, signage, and point-of-sale materials are accurate and properly placed. Analyze IRIS data, sales data and product movement reports to determine rate of sale. Increase facings and shelf space for high-volume, fast-selling brands and package sizes. Reduce facings of slow-moving products and/or remove discontinued product while maintaining authorized assortment requirements. Recommend shelf adjustments, cooler placements, and display opportunities based on sales trends and demand. Monitor local market preferences and consumer buying patterns when building and executing resets. Identify discrepancies between the planogram and actual shelf conditions and make necessary corrections. Document completed resets using company software (Space Planning Plus). Maintain strong working relationships with SESS sales account managers, team leaders, store managers and retail personnel. Ensure compliance with company policies, supplier requirements, retailer requirements, and state alcohol regulations. Travel between assigned retail locations on a as needed basis. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous sales, merchandising, stocking, reset, or retail experience preferred. Experience in the beverage, beer, wine, or consumer packaged goods industry is a plus. Ability to read and interpret planogram schematics. Knowledge of beer brands, packaging types, and pricing. Time management and ability to work independently. Ability to meet productivity and completion deadlines. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer and Ipad proficiency. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Ability to move cases of beer, display materials, and merchandising equipment. Ability to work in coolers, backrooms and warehouse environments as needed. Typical Work Schedule Full-time position. Early mornings, weekdays, weekends, and holiday work may be required based on SESS or retailer reset schedules
