As a Starbucks Merchandiser, you'll create the Starbucks Experience for our customers through excellent service and expertly crafted products. You'll be in an energetic store environment where you'll have the ability to master your food & beverage craft, work alongside friends and meet new people every day. A cup of coffee and smile can go a long way, and we believe our baristas have the power to be the best moment in each customer's day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Partnering with the entire Starbucks Management team to achieve sales, profitability and labor targets. Guaranteeing a remarkable shopping environment including friendly and helpful Starbucks Department team members who deliver exceptional customer service experience, fresh products, impeccable food safety, sanitation and cleanliness conditions, in-stock merchandise and accurate pricing/signing. Preparing Starbucks offerings to company specifications and programs. Communicating effectively with customers, team members, store management and other Rouses/Starbucks business partners and vendors. Training and coaching Starbucks team members and Rouses Management team. Monitor LS Star for all Starbucks updates and effectively communicate all information for proper execution in all locations. Supervising completion of required Starbucks activities, such as monitoring digital training process, maintaining safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards. Contacting vendors to request credits or other needs. Following Starbucks merchandising direction and ensure all Promotional plans are executed correctly. Evaluating product quality and freshness. Monitoring use and maintenance of Starbucks equipment and facilities. Completing required paperwork, forms, etc. accurately and on time. Open to learning new things (especially the latest beverage recipe!). Able to keep calm in a fast-paced, energetic work environment. Taking initiative and acting as a role model to others. Recapping monthly physical inventory data and auditing the inventory process on-site, as needed. Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays. Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation. Previous Barista or Starbucks experience required. Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication. Technologically adept / aptitude for learning new software / systems. Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients. Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.

Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time Able to stop, squat, reach and maneuver to move product boxes, bags, shelving, carts and equipment Able to lift 50 lbs.
