Position Summary:
As our Merchandise and Retail Operations Intern, you will work closely with the Director, Merchandise and Retail Operations supporting online fulfillment, product displays, inventory tracking, and the opening of a new Mariners retail store. Key duties include organizing stock and updating digital or in-store product presentations.
What You Will Do:
Retail Operations Assist Director with daily tasks, sample tracking, and vendor coordination. Help with game-day retail operations, including inventory replenishment, merchandising, and customer service. Ensure store presentation consistently reflects organizational brand standards. Develop and maintain retail operating procedures and best practices. Help manage POS systems and retail technology platforms. E-Commerce & Digital Retail Coordinate fulfillment operations, shipping, and customer service. Collaborate with marketing on digital campaigns, email marketing, and product launches.
Skills You Will Need:
Good communication, strong attention to detail, and basic computer skills. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the hockey calendar. Ability to stand for long periods and lift light boxes when needed.
Qualifications:
Study in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Sports Management, or related field. Experience in retail, merchandising, e-commerce, or consumer products experience.
