Ridgeview Industries is a leading metal stamping and assembly supplier primarily serving the automotive market. Our privately held and employee owned company, founded upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 600 team members across 4 plant locations. We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Material Handler for our Grand Rapids, Mi. location with a patient, friendly, and positive attitude. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following credentials.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve as needed/required.
  • Accurately stage and label product for shipment.
  • Receive product from MRO suppliers.
  • Review and put away packaging.
  • Label product as required.
  • Load and ship product to customers.
  • Receive product from outside suppliers and purchase part suppliers.
  • Stage and prepare product for shipment.
  • Preparation of bill of ladings, barcode scanning, and sending Advance Ship Notifications.
  • Familiarity with scanning and cycle counts.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous automotive experience is preferred or equivalent experience with Hilo's.
  • Willingness to take direction and work independently when needed.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Strong computer skills - prior experience with
QAD & MRP
systems is a plus.
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
