We re looking for a driven, market-savvy Wholesale Buyer & Sales Specialist to play a key role in sourcing, valuing, and moving inventory across our growing footprint. This role blends strategic buying, market insight, and sales execution. You ll be instrumental in keeping our inventory fresh, profitable, and aligned with customer demand. Key Responsibilities Source and purchase used trucks, tractors, and trailers for multiple locations Partner with sales teams to locate equipment for immediate customer needs Buy, sell, and wholesale inventory to dealers and external partners-maximizing profitability Evaluate, appraise, and inspect trades to determine condition and market value Manage disposition of aged or excess inventory in collaboration with General Managers Track auction activity and market trends to inform pricing and buying strategies Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM dealers, fleets, leasing companies, and industry partners Ensure all transactions are properly documented (titles, payments, agreements, compliance) Follow up on trade discrepancies and payment collections What You Bring Proven experience in the Class 8 truck market (retail and/or wholesale) Strong negotiation instincts and a competitive drive to win deals Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deals simultaneously Market awareness with the ability to assess value and risk quickly High integrity and a team-first mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of industry experience 2+ years of Class 8 retail experience Bachelor s degree (preferred, not required) CDL preferred Valid driver s license with a clean driving record Work Environment & Travel Primarily office-based with some time spent in yards, service shops, and outdoor lots Approximately 30% travel to auctions, dealerships, and partner locations
