Together, we'll continue to transform our industry. Come grow with us. We are Canteen. Job Summary The Market Refresh Specialist plans and completes an assigned number of market refreshes each year. The role uses sales and product data to improve product selection, profitability, market appearance, and client satisfaction. Market refreshes may include updates to product mix, pricing, planograms, branding, equipment, or technology. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a schedule to meet or exceed annual market-refresh goals. Review item-level sales, revenue, profit, pricing, and product-performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Recommend product, pricing, placement, and assortment changes based on business results and client needs. Create and update planograms and make approved changes within company systems. Coordinate refresh schedules, materials, equipment, and other needs with Client Managers, Field Support, and Operations. Maintain a positive, customer-service-focused attitude when working with clients, customers, and team members, and respond professionally to questions, concerns, and feedback. Travel to assigned locations using a company van or truck and use a handheld device to document and complete field activities. Clean and organize market areas, remove or rotate products, update labels and signage, and remerchandise products according to the approved plan. Confirm that refreshed markets are clean, properly stocked, accurately priced, and aligned with planograms and branding standards. Track completed refreshes, product changes, project status, issues, photographs, and follow-up needs. Monitor results such as sales or profit lift, product performance, and client feedback, and recommend adjustments when needed. Communicate project progress, delays, and operational concerns to the appropriate team members. Support new openings, client rollouts, program updates, and other projects as assigned. Manage daily priorities with limited supervision and ask for guidance when priorities or project requirements conflict. Basic Requirements High school diploma required; post-secondary education is strongly preferred, and a Bachelors' degree preferred. Ability to lift and carry at least 35 pounds. Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle. Ability to use handheld devices, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and planogram systems. Ability to travel within an assigned territory and perform physical merchandising work. Strong customer service orientation, written and verbal communication skills, Strong problem-solving skills Demonstrated conflict resolution skills Timeliness and accuracy coupled with the demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize business requirements and workload Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience required - not just data entry Apply to Canteen today!
