• A major food company is looking for some temporary support in their Samples department. The role would primarily involve packing bulk products into sample jars, and ideally looking for someone who could start within the next week or so.
• Your primary role as Fulfillment Coordinator is to create custom packages of specialty food samples to support our national sales team in securing new business. Careful attention to quality specifications (taste and visual) is essential for success.
• Included in your daily activities: Prepare, sample, and ship a daily slate of product requests from our national sales force.

This role is extremely hands on, as in any given day, you may be preparing up to 200 cups of product as well as shipping jars, tins, cases, etc. High attention to product quality and specific details of requests are required. You will be asked, over time, to learn our catalog of over 400 products. We will expect you to taste, ask questions, take notes, etc. Label, package, and ship all requests using care and technique. You will be shipping out a multitude of packages across the country. It is essential that they are packed and labeled appropriately. Assist in inventory management of our sample and supply room, ordering product from our warehouse and supplies from vendors needed for daily activities. You will be tasked with understanding product movement based on past order history. Preparing internal inventory and cost reports. Working with our Quality Control department, record data (LOT #s and quality review) of products moving in and out of our warehouse and office. Efficiently and professionally communicate request details, changes, and shipping confirmations. Clean and maintain a food safe environment for preparing samples. This includes but is not limited to washing and sanitizing workspace, washing dishes, composting food products, organizing walk-in fridge and freezer.

Qualifications:

Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail Comfortable handling firm, daily deadlines Prior experience as a restaurant expediter, foodservice employee or fulfillment specialist is preferred Able to move and lift up to 40 lbs Able to quickly adjust priorities and handle unexpected & time sensitive requests Work well independently and be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in doing good work To truly succeed, you need to have a passion for food. The successful candidate will be eager to learn the intricacies and unique attributes of our product line

Pay:
