Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Merchandiser to join our retail team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating visually appealing and organized store displays that attract customers and enhance their shopping experience. Duties Implement planograms and visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays that align with branding guidelines. Stock shelves efficiently, manage inventory levels, and handle material with care using manual handling equipment. Assist with remodeling projects, interior design updates, and store layout improvements to optimize space utilization. Use mobile devices and POS systems to update product information, process sales, and track stock movements accurately. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with shoppers, answering questions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including cleaning displays and managing stockroom areas. Support training and development initiatives for team members on merchandising techniques and safety procedures such as ladder use and heavy lifting. Qualifications Previous customer service experience. 2-3 days per month Free travel, Hotel plus meals. We travel from the Albany area to Syracuse/Utica area to service stores. Excellent pay ($175-$250) based on experience. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management, pricing accuracy, and planogram implementation. No vehicle needed. We provide transportation and work as a team. Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to pricing and inventory control.
