Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser to join our team immediately. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule from Monday through Thursday, totaling 28 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in merchandising, store management, and customer service. The candidate will work on 1 of 2 teams. Team 1 is Berwick, Hazleton, McAdoo, Landsford, Shenandoah, Ashland, Frackville, Mt. Carmel, Tamaqua. Team 2 will work on Pottsville, Orwigsburg, Birdsboro, Lykens, Bernville, Womelsdorf, Fleetwood and Pine Grove Pa. Responsibilities Implement and maintain planograms to ensure consistent product placement and visual appeal across retail locations Stock shelves, organize displays, and manage inventory levels to meet merchandising standards Assist with remodeling, interior design, and visual design projects to optimize store layouts and branding efforts Support store management with pricing strategies, sales promotions, and merchandising plans Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, inventory control, and cash handling procedures Conduct regular cleaning and organization of the sales floor to uphold cleanliness standards Provide excellent customer service by addressing shopper inquiries and assisting with product selections Participate in training and development initiatives to stay current on retail trends and merchandising techniques Collaborate with team members on store management tasks including stock rotation, inventory management, and administrative duties Qualifications Prior supervising or leadership experience in retail or merchandising roles preferred Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and visual design tools is a plus Knowledge of schematics, planograms, interior design, remodeling, or interior decorating is desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and store presentation Experience in retail sales, customer service, pricing strategies, and retail math Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple tasks while maintaining high standards of quality This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in merchandising, visual presentation, and customer service will contribute directly to the success of our retail locations. Pay:
