Weis Markets is seeking a detail-oriented Merchandising Clerk to support our Fresh Meat Merchandising team. This position provides administrative and merchandising support to Category Managers and Buyers by maintaining pricing, promotional data, purchase orders, item information, and merchandising systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with data, communicates effectively with internal and external business partners, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential. Essential Responsibilities Learn and maintain internal merchandising systems. Upload promotional ad planners and sales forecasts for upcoming advertisements. Enter and maintain promotional and everyday retail pricing. Process cost changes accurately and timely. Update purchase orders, including delivery dates and quantities. Coordinate with suppliers, transportation, warehouse teams, and internal partners to resolve delivery issues. Communicate professionally with stores, warehouse operations, the meat plant, transportation teams, and vendor partners. Assist Buyers and Category Managers by gathering data for category reviews, assortment planning, and merchandising decisions. Set up new items and maintain existing item information, including descriptions and product attributes. Perform data entry, reporting, data cleanup, and general administrative support. Respond to emails and routine field communications in a timely manner. Complete additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Two (2) years of clerical, administrative, merchandising, or related experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. Strong data entry and keyboarding skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong customer service mindset with both internal and external business partners. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
