Merchandize and Village Assistant
Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandize and Village Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be supporting the merchandise and holiday village operations across approximately 15 event locations throughout the US and Canada. This is a seasonal role beginning October and ending in January. It combines inventory tracking, daily sales reporting, POS support, shipping coordination, and some onsite village visits. The ideal candidate is persistent when following up with locations, comfortable assisting staff by phone, and able to identify issues before they affect weekend operations. A good eye for décor, displays, photo areas, and lighting is helpful but not required if the candidate can report issues with photographs and video for follow-up. Responsibilities Help manage and track merchandise inventory across approximately 15 event locations. Collect current inventory counts from each location every Monday. Follow up with managers until all required inventory reports are received. Maintain accurate inventory records to report products that may need to be replenished. Ensure merchandise can be shipped before the upcoming weekend. Monitor merchandise deliveries to each location, confirming that locations receive the correct products and quantities.
• Assist with POS training for village managers and merchandise sales staff. Assist staff with understanding basic sales procedures, product setup, transactions, and reporting requirements. Answer routine POS and merchandise procedure questions. Take calls from village managers and merchandise sellers regarding situations that arise during event operations. Visit event villages during working event hours to review merchandise areas, product displays, signage, décor, and photo ops. Assist in organizing merchandise and swag for influencers, media nights, private events, and other promotional activities. Qualifications Self-motivating, working with minimal supervision to identify, manage and complete all tasks in a timely manner. Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Meticulous attention to details with impeccable follow-through. Extraordinary planning and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Creative problem solver. Energy and enthusiasm for people and live entertainment experiences. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of event ticketing. Able to learn new POS software and procedures. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 45.0 per week
