The Yahnis Company, one of the largest family-owned wholesale beverage distributors in South Carolina, is seeking full-time delivery helpers to service customer accounts in the Grand Strand region of South Carolina. Our team-oriented delivery helpers thrive on physical work, placing and presenting the best local, regional and global products from Molson/Miller/Coors, Pabst Brewing Co., Yuengling and Heineken. Operating from the Conway, SC warehouse, the delivery helper works to enhance the placement of our products through effective merchandising, product rotation and a high level of customer service. Early morning start times.

Position Objective :

To enhance sales and service process by delivering and merchandising all products as ordered for assigned accounts in a safe, courteous and efficient manner. An entry-level position for those plotting their own course. This position will introduce an individual to beverage distribution through convenience store channels. Aiding the Company's sales and delivery teams, the delivery helper will accompany a delivery driver on a route, merchandising and rotating our products inside designated convenience stores. Existing product inventories are merchandised first, then staged deliveries will be stowed in designated areas of customer accounts. Product Freshness - In accordance with TYC's procedures, the M&M will ensure the stocking and rotating of product, reducing opportunity for out-of-date product. Physical Ability - Safely lifting, carrying and placement of product in coolers and onto shelves involves proper lifting technique. Driving History - The use of a company vehicle and gas card. Personal driving habits are typically carried over into professional responsibilities. We evaluate each candidate's 3-year driving history for severity and frequency of infractions. Maintenance of driver's license mandatory for employment.
