Job Description
Access Merchandising Group is looking for self-motivated, independent & adaptable merchandisers to fill a Part Time Merchandiser (PTM) position. The PTM is responsible for calling on an assigned itinerary of stores and delivering superior in-store customer service by conducting store visits within the Chester and Lancaster SC area. The current route openings covers numerous grocery stores in the Chester and Lancaster SC metropolitan area. This route operates Saturday's and Sunday's. There is a possibility that additional work will be offered throughout the week. This is a 1099 contractor position.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Organizing, rotating and stocking shelves during each store visit.
- Ensuring product replenished on displays and shelves are looking their best by properly rotating product and removing all stale or damaged packages.
- Working as a team with your Manager by communicating issues as appropriate, following your itinerary and being flexible with changes to your itinerary.
- Build effective relationships with store personnel to assure superior customer satisfaction.
- Identify incremental sales opportunities within the stores.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor with the public and store personnel when performing your duties.
- Always working safely.
Requirements include:
- One year of previous merchandising work experience and reset experience is preferred.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Daily access to the Internet is necessary including smart phone.
- Demonstrate superior customer service.
- Must have a personal vehicle and required to maintain a valid state issued driver's license and the minimum auto insurance specified by the associate's state of residence.
- Strong ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
