Elder's Mercantile Merchandising Lead is primarily responsible for designing displays throughout the sales floor and assisting with displays on the Hardware sales floor. Our boutique is where you can discover that perfect home decor piece to tie a room together and find unique gifts that will last a lifetime. Reviewing Daily sales reports and restocking what has sold the prior day. Help with maintaining the integrity of the Mercantile by tidying up displays. Performing tasks set forth by EM Manager and Inventory Administrator that relates to incoming stock. Able to complete everyday task in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word Plans in advance for added support of Hardware associates involving heavy lifting, assembling fixtures, maintenance issues, etc.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) preferred. Minimum of 6 months-1 year of retail experience. Previous experience with stock control and inventory management. Technically proficient in computer systems including related software. Gather and analyze data and maintain accurate records. Take initiative, assume responsibility, and execute thoroughly. Interact with staff at all levels of the organization. Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred. Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with company's insurance carrier's standards. Available to work 42-45 hours each week including Saturdays and select Sundays/evenings as needed for seasonal events.
