Sales Broker / Grocery Sales Representative On Target Staffing is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Broker / Grocery Sales Representative to develop new business and grow existing accounts within the food service and grocery industry. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable building relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, presenting products, and working directly with grocery and food service customers. The Sales Broker will manage client accounts, secure new product placements, execute promotional programs, and help drive overall sales growth. Responsibilities Identify and target potential new clients within the grocery and food service industry. Develop new business opportunities and expand sales within existing accounts. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships. Manage assigned client accounts and provide timely follow-up on orders, questions, and customer needs. Secure new item placements, displays, and promotional opportunities. Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and tastings to introduce and promote food products. Execute promotional programs, temporary price reductions (TPRs), rollbacks, displays, and other merchandising initiatives. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed established sales goals. Provide excellent customer service and respond promptly to client inquiries or concerns. Monitor product displays and shelves to ensure products are properly stocked, presented, and merchandised. Work with store personnel to address inventory, merchandising, and product placement needs. Submit customer payments to accounting when payments are received. Maintain accurate account information and sales activity. Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers, visit stores, and identify new sales opportunities. Qualifications Previous sales experience, preferably within grocery, food service, retail, consumer packaged goods, or food distribution. Strong sales and relationship-building skills. Ability to identify opportunities, present products effectively, and close sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with CRM software, order processing systems, and inventory tracking tools is preferred. Ability to work independently and manage multiple customer accounts. Comfortable conducting product presentations and tastings. Ability to learn store layouts and planograms and assist with merchandising and inventory. Smartphone with reliable internet access. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory. Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift boxes weighing approximately 30 to 50 pounds. Schedule & Travel Day shift On-the-road position Approximately 50% travel What We're Looking For Successful candidates will be proactive, persuasive, organized, and comfortable developing business relationships. You should be able to balance new business development with account management while providing excellent service to existing customers. Knowledge of grocery products, retail operations, merchandising, or food distribution is strongly preferred.
