Job Description
The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support our Retail Operations team. In this field-based role, you'll execute planograms, set and reset shelves, ensure accurate product placement, and maintain clean, well-organized displays to drive sales. You'll stock, rotate, and face products, place signage, and report results using handheld devices. Working closely with store personnel, you'll follow detailed instructions, meet visit deadlines, and troubleshoot on the sales floor. Responsibilities Execute planograms and merchandising layouts according to client standards Set, reset, stock, rotate, and face products on shelves and displays Install signage, tags, and promotional materials accurately Verify product placement, pricing, and assortment on the sales floor Use handheld or mobile devices to capture data, photos, and completion reports Communicate with store management and Retail Odyssey supervisors on status and issues Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays Follow visit schedules, meet deadlines, and manage multiple store assignments Adhere to safety, store, and company policies while working on-site Identify opportunities to improve shelf presentation and product visibility Required Skills Merchandising Planogram execution Retail math basics Inventory management Product rotation Visual merchandising Data entry Use of handheld/scan devices Time management Communication with store staff
