Job Description
Barney's Bakery Inc is looking to hire a Merchandiser to work in our Pittsburgh PA and Canton OH markets. The merchandiser would primarily take inventory of product in stores and report that to the Operation Manager. They would also communicate with store staff and restock/rotate product with available back stock in each store. The merchandiser would be responsible for servicing their designated stores in a timely manner, working Sunday through Thursday. The length of each day on the road may vary and they may also need to be able to cover for a delivery driver in the event of their absence. Potential Merchandisers need to have a clean driving record, have strong people skills, and willingness to adapt. An on-site company vehicle is provided for job use, however personal transport to and from work is required. Salary is competitive with merchandising positions at other bread companies and would be discussed during the interview process. Potential applicants will be required to pass both a background and drug test. They also will need a current valid Brooke County Food Handler's card.
