Main responsibilities:

The Manager, Category Development position works on a team that serves as an internal business consultant building Albertsons' customer focused strategy. Mine multiple sources of internal and external data to derive meaningful insights (internal databases, Circana, Numerator, and Customer Data) Review data, identify critical information, and analyze it to develop hypotheses and recommendations for the immediate team and key stakeholders Combine analytical expertise and research to deliver insights that support business decisions and day-to-day priorities Organize and manage timelines, workflows, and task allocation across projects, coordinating inputs from multiple contributors to keep work on track Build a working understanding of the business to develop and maintain accurate, meaningful dashboards & insights We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Preferred education is a Bachelors' degree Preferred experience is 5+ years in category management, data analysis, customer insights or related experience Love for project management Experience in Retail Grocery Category Management Experience synthesizing information from large data sets from multiple sources (internal/vendor/syndicated industry) Expert knowledge in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
