Job Description

Chaz Limited Collision Express, Alaskas leading collision repair organization, is seeking a full-time Parts Coordinator to join our Fairbanks team. Key Responsibilities:
Receive parts both physically and electronically, ensuring accuracy and inspecting for damage Order, receive, and invoice sublet operations Follow up with vendors regarding ETAs, credits, and refunds; update production systems accordingly Communicate with Customer Service Representatives and the Production Manager regarding parts arrivals for unscheduled repairs Build and maintain strong relationships with parts and sublet vendors Organize and stage parts for technicians using storage racks Maintain a clean, organized parts storage area Ensure accurate part descriptions, especially for price-matched items Process returns promptly for incorrect, damaged, or unused parts Maintain inventory of shop supplies (rivets, fasteners, nuts, bolts, etc.) Assist with parts and sublet errands as needed Participate in daily production meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid Alaska Driver's License with minimal moving violations High School Diploma or equivalent Intermediate computer skills (Alldata, Motors, Mitchell, and similar systems) Strong attention to detail Basic knowledge of automotive parts Minimum of 2 years of experience in a parts department, warehouse, stocking, or similar role (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors for short periods in cold temperatures Ability to stand, sit, bend, and work in confined spaces for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Ability to wear a half-mask or respirator when required Ability to step in and assist wherever needed with a positive, team-first attitude
