Parts Representative Parts Representative Opportunity Summary:
As a Parts Representative, you are responsible for efficiently handling and controls of the parts business through proper inventory, record keeping, delivery, and reporting.
Job Duties:
Processing, pulling, and delivering or shipping parts to fulfill customer orders. Assisting service shop and mobile technicians in identifying parts necessary for repairs. Tracking daily use of parts and receiving orders. Creating Purchase Orders (POs) for weekly stock orders and reporting to the manager. Nurturing and maintaining relationships with the company's vendors and suppliers. Maintaining appropriate inventory readiness and warehouse organization and cleanliness. Ensuring shop and mobile trucks are properly stocked and removing obsolete parts as deemed necessary.
Work Experience & Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Strong knowledge of product lines, i.e., Detroit Diesel and Allison. Strong written and verbal communication skills Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Forklift training.
