Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Parts Advisor based in Tuscaloosa, AL. The Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting retail and wholesale customers in identifying, sourcing, and purchasing automotive parts and accessories. This role supports the service department, technicians, and external customers by ensuring accurate part lookups, timely ordering, and excellent customer service while maintaining inventory accuracy and profitability. Key Responsibilities Assist customers (retail, wholesale, and internal service technicians) in identifying and purchasing correct parts and accessories Utilize electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems to locate parts accurately Maintain accurate inventory levels, including stocking, binning, cycle counts, and special orders Communicate effectively with service advisors and technicians regarding parts availability and order status Maintain a clean, organized parts counter and stockroom Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies Qualifications Previous automotive parts dealership experience required Knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts Familiarity with dealership management systems (Dealertrack) preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer proficiency Ensure compliance with manufacturer and dealership policies High school diploma or equivalent required
