Responsibilities Manage automotive parts inventory using inventory management systems and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to ensure accurate stock levels and timely replenishment. Source OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and aftermarket parts through supplier management channels, negotiating pricing and terms to optimize procurement costs. Coordinate with internal teams, including automotive service technicians and sales staff, to fulfill parts orders efficiently and accurately. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation, inspection, and storage of incoming and outgoing parts. Maintain detailed parts administration records, including demand planning data, pricing updates, and procurement documentation. Support warehouse management activities such as organizing storage areas, conducting regular inventory audits, and controlling stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to identify suitable parts for repairs or replacements, enhancing customer satisfaction and service quality. Skills Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics inventory management techniques. Proven supplier management experience with the ability to negotiate effectively on pricing and sourcing terms. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle systems, OEM parts specifications, and automotive repair processes. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control systems, and ERP platforms such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, reporting, and internal communication purposes. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive parts and accessories to assist in sourcing accurate components. Excellent customer service skills combined with internal communication abilities to support dealership or repair shop operations effectively.
