A Parts Counter Representative sells spare parts of the phone or the counter. May assist customers in finding the correct spare and replacement parts for a product. Acts as first point of contact for product orders of customers and suppliers.
Horne Kia is looking for a motivated and dependable Parts Counter Trainee to join our growing dealership team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the automotive industry, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career with one of Arizona's respected automotive groups. You'll receive hands-on training while learning how to identify, locate, and order the correct parts for vehicles and support our service and parts operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Learn how to identify the correct parts using the vehicle's VIN Assist customers and technicians with parts identification and availability Learn parts lookup and ordering procedures Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking parts Maintain an organized and accurate parts department Use computer systems to look up parts and process information Communicate with technicians, service advisors, customers, and vendors Provide professional and helpful customer service Perform other duties to support the Parts Department
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous automotive or parts experience is a plus, but training is provided Interest in learning the automotive parts business Valid driver's license High school diploma or equivalent required Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic computer proficiency Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment Ability to bend, move, lift, and physically perform job duties Team player with strong work ethic
COMPENSATION
