Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Spare Parts Specialist to support the maintenance operations of a leading diagnostics manufacturer in Carlsbad. This role will take ownership of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spare parts, including purchasing, inventory coordination, order tracking, and CMMS administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working closely with maintenance technicians and engineers in a manufacturing environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance spare parts, tools, consumables, and critical components.
- Coordinate purchasing, purchase orders, order tracking, receiving, and closeout.
- Proactively follow up on open orders and expedite critical parts as needed.
- Maintain spare parts and inventory information within SAP or another CMMS.
- Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and availability to prevent stockouts.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
- Organize and stage parts and PM kits for scheduled maintenance activities.
- Partner with maintenance technicians, engineers, vendors, and procurement to anticipate upcoming material needs.
- Support organized, accurate, and audit-ready maintenance storage areas.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience supporting MRO, spare parts, maintenance, purchasing, inventory, logistics, or related operations.
- Experience with SAP or another CMMS strongly preferred.
- Experience with purchasing, order tracking, inventory management, or vendor coordination.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to proactively manage multiple orders and priorities from initiation through completion.
- Manufacturing, biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, organize inventory, and lift or move parts/boxes up to 35 lbs.
