Parts Department / Inventory Control RJ's Demolition & Disposal We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated individual to join our team in the Parts Department / Inventory Control position. This role will be responsible for maintaining parts inventory and supporting our shop and operations by ensuring the correct parts and supplies are available when needed. Key Responsibilities Order truck, trailer, heavy equipment, and shop parts from multiple vendors. Contact and work with different vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and estimated delivery times. Compare pricing and assist with selecting cost-effective purchasing options. Maintain accurate inventory of parts, filters, fluids, supplies, and other shop materials. Receive incoming parts and verify quantities and purchase orders. Stock, label, and organize parts in their proper locations. Issue parts to mechanics and other departments and properly document what was used. Track parts used by individual truck or equipment unit when applicable. Monitor inventory levels and reorder commonly used parts before stock runs out. Maintain accurate records of purchases, receipts, invoices, and inventory. Follow up on backordered, incorrect, damaged, or missing parts. Coordinate returns, exchanges, and warranty parts with vendors. Assist with parts pickups from local vendors when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department. Communicate with mechanics, supervisors, and management regarding parts needs and urgent repairs. Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile any inventory discrepancies. Qualifications Previous experience in a parts department, inventory control, automotive, trucking, diesel, or heavy-equipment environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of truck, automotive, or heavy-equipment parts is preferred. Comfortable communicating and negotiating with multiple vendors. Good computer and data-entry skills. Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize urgent parts requests. Must be dependable and able to work with minimal supervision. Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean DMV driving record. Must be able to drive company vehicles for local parts pickups as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
